Reported cases of AI nudifiers targeting school communities

This map was created in April 2026 by Alexios Mantzarlis at Indicator and Matt Burgess at Wired. It collects reported incidents of school communities where AI nudifiers were used by students against students. We require articles to provide sufficient information about the incident for it to be clearly distinguished from others. The map does not include other cases targeting teachers, children outside of school environments, or cases where the perpetrator isn't a student themself. Please email editorial@indicator.media to flag any cases we have left out.

Month refers to the month of the incident if it is reported in the article. Victim numbers are included only when specifically mentioned in the article. Location is approximated when one isn't cited in the article or purposefully inexact when a school is named; zooming into the pin doesn't return a precise school location in any instance.
